Who this is between

You, and [legal entity name] of [registered address], which operates go/no-go. Connecting a repo or buying a test means you accept these terms. If you are doing it for a company, you are confirming you can bind that company.

You need to be 18 or older, and building something you are allowed to sell.

What we do

For one fixed fee we:

  • read a repo you give us read access to,
  • work out who might pay for what you built,
  • write and host landing pages for each of those groups,
  • buy advertising on our own accounts and send strangers to those pages,
  • measure what those strangers did and how many left an email address, and
  • return one word: Go or No-go, with the numbers behind it.

The test runs for a fixed number of days, set by the budget. When the money is spent, it ends.

What we do not do

  • We do not touch your product. No pull request, no commit, no pixel, no tag manager, no script in your app. Access is read-only and you can revoke it in GitHub at any moment.
  • We do not promise an outcome. A verdict is what the money measured, not advice and not a prediction. Go does not mean you will succeed. No-go does not mean you would have failed.
  • We do not tell you anyone will pay. The signal we buy is an email address from a stranger. It is the cheapest thing they can give and it does not prove revenue. Every report says so.

Your account and your code

You keep every right you already had in your code. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything you made.

You give us permission to read the repos you select, and to use what we read to run your test — to analyse it, to describe your product in ads and on pages, and to show it to the people we advertise to. That permission lasts as long as your test and ends with it.

You are responsible for what is in the repo you connect. Do not give us access to code you do not have the right to share, and do not give us credentials, customer data, or anyone else’s secrets. Keep your account secure and tell us if it is compromised.

The pages and ads we make

We write the copy, build the pages and run the campaigns. You get to use the pages and copy we produced for your test for your own purposes afterwards, for free and for good. We keep the right to run the underlying system and to reuse what we learn about advertising in general.

We may decline to advertise something. Ad platforms have their own rules and we are the account holder, which makes their rules ours.

What you must not advertise through us

Anything illegal where it would run, or anything that would get our ad accounts suspended. In particular: products you have no right to sell, adult content, weapons, drugs, gambling, financial products requiring a licence you do not hold, medical claims, anything designed to deceive, and anything that targets or demeans people for who they are.

You confirm that what you are advertising is real, that you can lawfully sell it, and that the claims you ask us to make about it are true. If a platform suspends an account over your product, we can end the test immediately.

Money

  • One charge, media included. $100, $300 or $650. There is no ad account of yours, no card with Google, and no second invoice.
  • No subscription. Nothing renews. There is nothing to cancel.
  • Before we buy media, you can have your money back. Ask, and we refund in full.
  • After we buy media, we cannot. The money has gone to Google or Meta and we cannot get it back. This is the honest part: a No-go is the product working correctly, and it is not a reason for a refund.
  • Prices are exclusive of any tax we are required to collect where you are.

If we fail to run your test at all — we never buy the media, or we cannot deliver a verdict for a reason that is ours — you get everything back.

Availability

We do not promise the app is always up. There is no uptime commitment and no service credit. A test that is running keeps spending whether or not you can log in to watch it.

Ending it

You can stop using go/no-go whenever you like, remove our GitHub App, and ask us to close your account. A test already running will finish, because the media is already bought.

We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if what you are advertising puts our ad accounts at risk, or if we are required to. If we end it for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unspent part.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude every implied warranty, including that go/no-go is fit for a particular purpose or that its verdicts are accurate.

We are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost opportunity, or a business decision you made because of a verdict. Whatever we are liable for, in total, is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.

If you cause us a problem

If we are sued or fined because of what you asked us to advertise, because of the code you gave us access to, or because you broke these terms, you cover what it costs us.

Changes

We can change these terms. If a change matters, you get an email at least fourteen days before it takes effect, and a test you have already bought runs under the terms in force when you bought it.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of [governing law], and the courts of [jurisdiction] hear any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not remove rights you have where you live.

Before that, write to legal@gonogotest.com. Almost everything is faster to fix that way.

The rest

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us. If a court strikes out part of this, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not mean we have given it up. You cannot transfer this agreement without asking us; we can transfer it if the business is sold.
